Renaming the Museum with the QueenMay 24 2005, 11:00 am
The Provincial Museum of Alberta became the Royal Provincial Museum of Alberta during this renaming ceremony, hosted by the her Majesty, Queen Elisabeth. The St. Albert Community Band was invited as one of the many performers to entertain her majesty and the crowd of spectators during this memorable event.
